HR Update

EU staff: What to do ahead of Brexit

In this employment law update we will focus on an issue that is concerning most UK businesses; how to maintain a workforce which is reliant on workers from the EU, in the face of Brexit. This seminar will highlight some of the key considerations and practical steps to take in preparation for 2019, including:

• What steps should EU staff be taking ahead of Brexit?
• What can HR teams do to support them?
• Brexit planning: what are the HR risks and how can they be mitigated?
• How will international recruitment change after Brexit?
• The so called ‘grace’ period
• What will the challenges be for both low and high skilled labour post-Brexit?

We will also provide an update on recent developments in employment law, as well as highlighting some recent cases, and what we can learn from them.
