Commercial dispute resolution

Realistic business advice

We believe that your business needs commercially aware, business orientated advisers to provide you with solutions to your problems. Our aim is always to work alongside you to ensure that the approaches we take are compatible with your aims and objectives, and to guarantee that we have a thorough understanding of your business.

We act on a wide range of commercial disputes including:

  • Contracts and warranties
  • Directors and directors' duties
  • Shareholders and shareholder agreements
  • Partners and partnerships/LLPs
  • Intellectual property
  • Domain names/IT/Cyber

Litigation

Our litigation team is one of the largest groups of litigators in the southeast outside London, enabling us to rival City firms with our expertise but offer you these services at lower rates. We are ranked by both the Chambers and Legal 500 directories as one of the top firms in the Thames Valley for dispute resolution. We provide expertise on a wide variety of matters by bringing together lawyers from a range of backgrounds. Our aim is to understand your business needs and then solve your problems efficiently and cost-effectively.

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

Freeths has built up considerable experience in mediations in commercial litigation disputes, and are well aware of how cases which would take considerable time and cost to resolve by conventional methods can be resolved in a day or a half day as a result of the mediation process.

All of the solicitors in our dispute resolution department are familiar with the various forms of ADR.
